THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Tamzin (pictured centre) back on stage after recovering from an ankle injury |
Sexy Brit actress Tamzin Outhwaite has been forced to miss two of her West End 'Sweet Charity' performances, following her fall earlier this week (Tuesday, 3rd August 2010).
The former 'Hotel Babylon' star, who plays the title character Charity Hope Valentine, was injured during the Tuesday evening show at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket but carried on with the performance.
But the actress was in so much pain the following day she sought doctors' advice - and was forced to miss both of Wednesday's scheduled shows.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes:
"So after falling through some steps on stage last night I thought my ankle was fine..
.. cut to... trying to shower and walk downstairs...ouch!!
"So here I am waiting for an X-ray in case I have a chipped bone. Not allowed to work today. Gutted. Please no! I know I have high pain threshold but this is ridiculous! Walking with a slight limp. Bone not chipped! Just bruised. At home with ice on it."
Outhwaite did manage to bounce back to perform on yesterday (5th August 2010) - despite still walking with a slight limp, and after the show, she told her online followers:
"Limped through the show tonight but a wicked audience kept me going!! Thank you xx."
Still have to see if I can get tickets to this, as I have heard many good reviews.
