QUEEN star BRIAN MAY is planning to put pen to paper to create a brand new musical, with new songs!

The rocker's hits were the basis of musical 'We Will Rock You', which debuted in London back in 2002 and went on to become a worldwide theatre box office smash. Now the famous guitarist is considering writing new songs for an original production.

He says:

"Its something I have thought about. I'm very friendly with (lyricist) Don Black, and Don and I wrote a song together - he's a wonderful guy and we have talked about it. It's just finding the time and the moment."

Some of you may (or may not) have heard that Don Black is to be honoured by the rights body Broadcast Music International. A very well-deserved award!
