Katy Perry To Become a Brit?

Could Katy Perry become a British citizen after she marries funnyman Russell Brand? Or could we see Brand make a permanent move over to the U.S.?

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker is set to wed the comedian later this year and, to make life easier as she jets between her native America and the U.K., the singer is eyeing dual-citizenship.

She says:

"I love London and just being here. I've decided that when the day does come, I will become a dual citizen. Then I can just pass through customs real quick."

And the singer is expecting an easy application process - because she's so well known already in Britain. Bless her!

Speaking on Alan Carr's chat show, she says:

"You've already kind of adopted me, so maybe I don't have to go through all the paperwork?"
