The 81st Annual Academy Awards - My Predictions..

After all the hype and glamour of the British Academy Awards earlier this month (08 Feb 2009), the film world is now turning its sights the OSCARS - which takes place later tonight (early hours on Monday morning for us UK viewers).

So what can we expect? Will the winners follow the same suit as the British Academy Awards and the Golden Globes? Well...I would say yes...but not completely! In true Oscar fashion there will most probably be a few surprises tucked up the academy's sleeves.

In keeping with my annual tradition of placing a little bet on who will win an Oscar this year...I am putting my neck on the line and have decided to give a few tips on who will leave the ceremony with a the famous golden statuette.

The winners are likely to be:
