Sienna's Maid Marion out of favour with the Sheriff.

Who says that age isn't still an issue in Hollywood?

Sienna Miller has reportedly been axed from new movie Nottingham because she would make Russell Crowe look "old and fat".

The 26-year-old actress (who had been cast to play Maid Marian in the £110 million reimagining of the Robin Hood story) has been dropped from the film because it was feared lead star Russell would look out of shape in the love scenes.

A source told the New York Post newspaper:

"It is a mess. Russell never lost the weight he put on for 'Body of Lies' and so the love scenes between him and Sienna would have been laughable. He's so old and fat and she's so young and gorgeous.

"Word is that producers are looking for an older, plumper actress to play the role so Crowe doesn't look like a paunchy grandfather. Someone in her late 30s or early 40s."

The 44-year-old star had to gain almost 50lbs for his role as a former journalist who hunts down terrorists from his armchair in Body of Lies. Unfortunately for Sienna...this is the second time that she has been dropped from a leading role in recent months.

Director Guy Ritchie axed her from Sherlock Holmes in November after her ex-fiance Jude Law agreed to appear in the project.

Scott-Thomas & Duff to star in Lennon biopic.

Two of Britain's finest actresses, Kristin Scott-Thomas (pictured right) and Anne-Marie Duff (pictured left), are joining forces for a new biopic about late Beatle John Lennon.

In a story of the late BEATLE's early life, British actor Aaron Johnson, 18 will portray Lennon, while Thomas will play the rocker's aunt Mimi, who raised the star when his parents split up. Duff is set to portray his mother Julia in the Matt Greenhalgh screenplay, titled Lennon, which is based on a book by the Beatle's half-sister, Julia Baird.

An interesting and exciting combination!

Kristen is one of my favourite actresses, so I'm looking forward to seeing how she and Anne-Marie bounce off each other.

Chris Evans chooses to avoid gay bars.

Has one of Hollywood's best known stars (and with a huge gay fanbase) put his foot in his mouth?

FANTASTIC FOUR star Chris Evans is forced to avoid nights out with his gay brother....in case the press begin to speculate about his own sexuality.

The actor's younger brother, Scott, is openly homosexual, and often asks the star to join him on outings to gay bars. But Evans admits he is forced to decline the invitations, because he fears a photograph of him at a gay club could spark rumours which would haunt him forever. Okaaayy...obviously they wouldn't think he'd just be out with his openly gay brother?

He says:

"I'm down with the gays. Mostly I'm hanging out with (my brother) and his gay buddies, who are f**king hilarious. They're the funniest people I know. They've invited me out to gay bars before, and I said, 'Look, guys, I've got to draw the line there.' That's where a photo will get taken, it will run in magazines, and before you know it, I'll be living down the gay rumour for the rest of my life."

Now I always thought that if someone was happy with his sexuality that it wouldnt matter where he's seen? Maybe I have a simplistic view of life...

Just when you thought that I disappeared off the face of the planet...

Hey readers (or those of you still left)!
