Movie Releases - This week i recommend..

Hello movie-goers! I've got a unique release for you this week..

Hard Candy. - starring Patrick Wilson, Ellen Page, Sandra Oh, Jennifer Holmes...and directed by David Slade.

Appearances can be deceptive as this story will show..

Smart...charming..teenage girl called Hayley has arranged to meet Jeff, a 30-something fashion photographer, from the internet. But Hayley's looking for a bit of risky fun...and soon she's mixing screwdrivers at Jeff's place and stripping for an impromptu photo shoot. Jeff thinks it's his lucky night...until he passes out. Hayley's got a lot on her mind...like getting Jeff to confess to his penchant for teenage girls...and to what he did to Donna Mauer, a girl who disappeared from Jeff's favourite coffee shop.
When Jeff comes around he finds that he is tied to a chair. If he doesn't cooperate..Hayley has a little surgical procedure in mind to help him along - a procedure she learned from the internet ironically. Simple really...all she needs is an ice-pack and a knife :)

This movie is seen as a battle of the sexes...at its most extreme!

Go see it...

No major blockbusters out this week...so that it from the movie camp for this week :)

Hello strangers!

I'm sorry it's been a long time since I last entered something on my blog, but a lot has gone on in my life...which I will now tell you all about.

I suffered a bit of a health scare a couple of weeks ago, and had a biopsy done on a lump found near my wisdom tooth. Thankfully the results showed that there was no cause for alarm...even though the doctors initially thought it might be - hence the biopsy. So that has been a major stress in my life recently, and have been feeling mentally drained because of it. Now that is out of the way...I can go on and live life to the full.

I've recently started a Diploma in PR - in order to try and become a qualified Publicist. It's what I've always wanted to do,,,so watch this space for more progress on that!

Work has been extremely busy recently...and I've decided to train for a role as a manager. I feel I need to progress in what I do...and therefore I believe I'm ready for the extra responsibility!

Painting...most of you will already know that I love to paint...and will look to do more bespoke painting work. Who knows....maybe turning into a business? The creative juices have recently started flowing again...and feeling extra confident putting brush to canvas! Hopefully soon I will be developing a website to house the business - full details will be revealed on here as and when.

Films - once again I apologise for not providing my delightful recommendations :) I shall be back to my normal self this week...and will mark the return of what I think will do well at the box office!

I'm volunteering to become a steward at this year's Europride London event on 1st July. More volunteers are needed so please please please...if you are attending this year, and fancy giving something back to the cause...go to http://www.pridelondon.org/getinvolved/volunteer.asp to complete a brief registration form. It will be a fun day out, and all eyes will be on London to see if this wonderful city can pull off a spectacular event!

Right...that's my penny's worth...time to get working on my future.. Catch you all again very soon!
